There is a burglar in the house
taking friends
first stealing the calm and
then robbing quietly
while I watch.
It's like a dream
one of those scary dreams
that something is wrong
and your open your mouth to scream and
nothing comes out
I've been awakened by
yet another nightmare

The world is round, perhaps the universe too, though it may not be perfectly symmetrical, it does go around and around in a regular and predictable way. When the sun "goes down" in just a few dark hours the light appears again, breaking open the sky, the color, the cheeful choir of birds, and even the taste of the dawn itself. Some people chase sunsets, others the sunrise!
